You will gain GMC registration upon completion of the course and once they have submitted an in date EDI certificate

Health Education Derbyshire Training Hub welcomes applications from general practitioners in Derbyshire who wish to undertake training to become clinical supervisors. Clinical supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of GP specialty registrars in general practice posts.
Our clinical supervisor course, approved by Health Education England East Midlands, is designed to provide delegates with a foundation in applied educational education theory.
The course content includes the following workshops:
- The Learning Environment
- How People Learn
- Learning Needs Assessment
- The Art of Reflection and Reflection in e-Portfolio Learning
- Introduction to Feedback
- Introduction to Assessment
- The Trainee in Difficulty
- Workplace-based Assessment
Currently the course is provided free of charge. All we require is your commitment to attend and your intellectual curiosity! Course delegates are advised to complete external equality and diversity training.
On completion of the course and provision of up-to-date certification in equality and diversity training, delegates will receive a certificate of completion of clinical supervisor training to enable registration as a clinical supervisor with the General Medical Council via Health Education England East Midlands.
