This one day course will provide information on women’s health concerns commonly presenting in primary care including how to manage and when to refer. This day of education is relevant for any primary care healthcare professional who is interested in learning more about women’s health.

The learning outcomes are to:

• Understand the menstrual cycle

• Be able to recognise the common causes of ‘bleeding’ problems and gain an understanding of the relevant investigations and management in primary care.

• Understand the causes of polycystic ovary syndrome and fertility problems.
