Health Education Derbyshire have been working alongside the Diabetic team at UHDB to develop a series of Masterclasses on Diabetes.
Join in on the Derbyshire Diabetes Education Programme by attending the first masterclass DIABETES- GETTING THE DIAGNOSIS RIGHT.
The topics and learning objectives are listed below:
- Diagnosis of diabetes in the symptomatic and asymptomatic patient
- Initial referral pathway for Type 1 diabetes
- Understanding of the classification of diabetes beyond Type 1 and 2
- When to question whether the diagnosis is correct?
- The role of C peptide and antibodies
The session will be held via Microsoft Teams.
