GP Assistant

A GPA will support the GP(s) smooth running of clinics by performing the more routine administration and clinical tasks on behalf of the GP, freeing up their time to focus on the patient.  Example job description attached

The GPA course is accredited by the  University of Chester. 

Within derbyshire funding is available for 20 GPA's.

 Suitable  learners will already be in post and will need to commence in January 2021 the programme is usually completed in 6-9months
